Product Development Associate

The Product Development Associate will be responsible for developing out a highly organized and collaborative Department from the ground up for Graf Lantz, Inc and our portfolio of new brands. You will partner with our merchandising and concept/design team to R&D, source and execute developments and be responsible for managing all submissions from sample to production. You will also be responsible for managing and owning the development of crossfunctional calendars to help streamline systems and processes. 

With a focus on sustainability, innovation, function and design the Graf Lantz product ethos is to look beyond what exists in the market and support a modern lifestyle. 

We are looking for a person with amazing taste and background in product development (Home Goods, cleaning & care, accessories, etc) and is looking for an exciting opportunity at a high-growth company. 

  • Sample development and management based on partnership and requests from Merchandising/Sales team
  • Tech pack development and submission
  • Development of product and data entry into ERP system
  • Sourcing innovative materials, vendors, factories and partners
  • Development/Approvals of Color updates in our Core Materials
  • Manage outside design contractors, timelines and calendars
  • Collaborating with internal and external factories - in LA, US and Internationally
  • Manage all samples and the handoff to our creative and photo teams as well as be the direct point of contact for sample timelines. 

Skills

  • 2-3 years experience
  • Must love textiles and exciting new materials
  • Preference towards sustainable materials, processes, products and concepts. 
  • Experience with developing tech packs
  • Experience working with outside contractors and designers
  • Highly organized and experienced with calendar management/creation
  • History working in an organized production environment
  • Background in product development of Homegoods or accessories a must 
  • Experience working with overseas factories preferred

 

JR Buyer/Merchant

The Jr. Buyer/Merchant will be an integral part of the merchandising arm of Graf Lantz, Inc and our portfolio of new and existing brands. The ideal candidate will come with some industry knowledge and experience in fashion/home goods buying or planning and have a keen understanding of numbers to inform critical decision making to achieve financial targets. This is a new roll for the company and has a lot of growth potential working under the VP.

We are looking for a person with amazing taste and background in Buying, Merchandising and/or Planning and is looking for an exciting opportunity at a high-growth company. 

 

  • Excellent understanding of Excel and pulling data reports to understand the health of the product and categories to make informed recommendations for purchasing, merchandising and marketing. 
  • Development of weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports by channel (eCommerce, wholesale, amazon, dropship  etc) as well as different brands.
  • Own Merchandise/Assortment plan and calendar needs: Maintain and own the Merch plan seasonally with updates, disco, etc 
  • Analyzes current product lines and identifies new product opportunities within existing categories, and performs SKU rationalizations weekly
  • Balance OTB to projections and sales needs
  • Project recommended unit buys for replenishment based on weeks of supply, seasonality and historical selling data. 
  • Product Creation and input into ERP system
  • Provide market research for new product additions - pricing 
  • Manage sample approval process and submitting notes to product development team
  • PO and Order Entry
  • Manage Markdowns and markdown calendar
  • Weekly WIP report to keep track of production deliveries, delays and changes to deliver in ERP system and communications with the teams. 
  • Education - Educate all teams on new product launches, develop decks and host seasonal meetings.

Skills

Marketing Associate: 

As the Marketing Associate at Graf Lantz, Inc and our growing portfolio of brands your role will be to manage and challenge the status quo as to how we approach our conversation with our customers genuinely and charismatically. With the tools of social media, newsletter, text, etc we are looking for a person to own the marketing and experiences that we put out into the world, engaging existing and new people. You will also own our copywriting library, organize existing and either develop or manage the acquisition of our copy. 

Position  

  • Social Media Management for our portfolio of innovative brands with different generational angles and voices with varying channels
  • Be a voice of the brand, handling communications with our customers through all social media platforms, ensuring we are being appropriately represented
  • Influencer management - develop a strategy for each brand and manage our current and new systems. 
  • Ambassador network - create and manage to empower our community of brand advocates. Turn customer interactions into evangelism. 
  • Own our copywriting to clean up and organize our library of copy. Develop or curate copy from various team members for launches. 
  • Develop Newsletters based on marketing plans and goals 
  • Be the main point of contact for our paid social management and affiliate marketing
  • Report on KPI’s for your division and provide weekly and monthly reports to the team 
  • Review and report on strengths and weaknesses in our images to report to the creative team based on all channels (social, social ads, newsletter campaigns, amazon, website, etc) and brands to inform direction and needs
  • Monthly round ups of competitor and competitive market analysis - progressive brands Newsletters, Social, Social Ads, Community programs, etc.

Lead Customer Experience Associate

The Lead Customer Experience Associate will be responsible for developing out a highly organized and collaborative CS department at Graf Lantz, Inc and our portfolio of new and existing brands. You will partner with our operations team to oversee and manage all aspects of our customer experience journey. Our goal is to develop a best-in-class, efficient and innovative program that takes care of our customers and offers support that brings them back again and again evangelizing our care and support.  

We are looking for a highly energetic, professional Customer Experience Manager who takes CS to a whole new level and loves a challenge and loves talking to people but can function well in a startup environment. 

  • Customer Service - Main point of contact for day-to-day customer inquiries and concerns and elevate the customer experience (email, chat, sms, phone, etc)
  • Hire additional customer service team members that share company values
  • Inspire, train and educate all CS members about product, brand, tone and best practices.
  • Manage Yotpo monitoring reviews and questions - responding in a timely manner
  • Manage all inquiries and communicate promptly concerning customer orders, returns, refunds, technical help, stock search, general inquiries and more via phone, email, live chat and social media.
  • Maximize cross and upselling opportunities in all email and phone correspondence by suggesting related products to original inquiries, as well as alternatives to sold-out requests. 
  • Optimize current customer service processes for clear opportunities and execute. Ensure efficiency in processes and share ideas to improve methods.
  • Ability to detect design and technical issues from a user’s perspective and provide team with feedback as it relates to site design, navigation, return policies, FAQ, and anything else related to serving Graf Lantz customers.
  • Ensure orders are shipped on a timely basis (48hrs) and partner with management/shipping to ensure customer issues are resolved.
  • Distribute a weekly report with key findings, kpis, sales by channel & customer feedback
  • Initiate new ideas to reach current customers to increase LTV and retention as well as build our brand story.

Skills

  • Must have at least 2-3 years experience in Fashion, Home Goods or Accessories
  • Absolutely love customer service and consider customer first procedures the backbone of any business.
  • Experience managing, training and hiring customer service associates.
  • Have progressive CS experience with a goal to develop best in class, innovative program
